In this interview, Jason Tan (JS Scholar 2019) talks with Jatnna Ramirez, MPA, about the Global Kids mission, as well as the over all importance of human rights education, activism, and youth voice. They end their discussion of how student can become Global Citizens and get more involved with specific issues at home and abroad, like the Rohingya Refugee Crisis.
Ramirez is the Director of High School Programs at Global Kids (https://globalkids.org/), an educational non-profit focused on teaching and engaging High School students with contemporary, international social and political issues.
